Gehad El-Sobky is an Expert IT and Digital Transformation Consultant with 24+ years of experience in IT Strategy, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, and IT Project Management, working with companies of all sizes in Egypt and the Middle East, including Multinationals, Large Local Corporates, SMEs, and Startups. Gehad assists businesses on their digital transformation journeys by defining and building digital transformation strategies, reviewing the present condition (AS IS), finding gaps, and developing future plans (TO BE) with the assistance of standard and tailored frameworks. Consultancy Achievements

IT Strategic Management, is the primary scope in which I assist firms through the various stages of planning and execution support of the company strategy.

Lead and develop the Digital Transformation Strategy of the Smart Villages Company (SVC) by designing solutions for the whole IT infrastructure and business applications (Mobile App, work permits automation solution, CRM).
Led Digital Finance projects (factoring and leasing) for enterprises (EGY Lease - BM Lease). Led the implementation of the ERP system (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Financial Modules) for (IMACT Group, Puvana, Trainera) in a variety of industries such as construction, mining, and food and beverage in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Assess IT infrastructure readiness (cloud and on-premise), develop recommended architecture roadmaps, and drive solution implementation in diverse organizations in Egypt, KSA, and UAE.
Developed websites and online applications (e-commerce, user interactive portal, store management, assessment center, HR system, Support System) for over 25 organizations in various industries in Egypt, KSA, and UAE, utilizing a range of frameworks and programming languages.

Project Achievements

Led the customization and deployment of the e-learning platform (LMS) in a number of organizations, including (GIZ, Senior Care Education, Trainera, SMCF-Nurture, Resala Language School).
Successfully reduced operating costs by 30% (6 million EGP) by implementing an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 2012) and building a custom transport module (IMPACT Group – Egypt).
Implemented an ITSM solution based on the ITIL framework and educated IT staff on how to improve service response time KPIs. The abandonment rate of service desk calls for 500+ employees was lowered from 80% to 5% (IMPACT Group - Egypt and KSA).
Built a middleware system with the Laravel Framework from the ground up to assist one of the major clients "Extra" in performing a pre-assessment of candidates for the Saudization scheme (LOGIC - KSA).
Contribute to a 40% decrease in team building event operational costs by creating a PHP application from scratch to optimize all operations processes in this department (Trainera - Egypt and KSA).
Developed a store management application, a center kitchen, an Avaya call center system, a POS system, and an online ordering system to help the business grow from one to four branches in three years (Tabali Bistro - Egypt).
Customized assessment platform based on an open-source system (Moodle) for (LOGIC – Egypt).
